Swedish massage, pregnancy and reflexology massage certified.  Also some training in deep tissue that is incorporated in massages.

Swedish massage is designed specially to relax your muscles. By applying pressure on the muscles and around the bones, we enhance the oxygen flow in the blood and speed the process of removing toxins from the muscles. The Swedish massage further helps in flushing out lactic, uric acid and other toxins from the tissues, which form those sometimes painful knots. Through this massage, the ligaments and tendons become more flexible and it also stimulates the skin and nervous system, thus relieving you from emotional and physical stress.

Reflexology works at the imbalances in the feet and hands. In this therapy the blockages are released and free flow of energy is restored in specific areas, organs and whole body by working on the points at the feet and the hands. This massage is a focused form of acupressure which helps in blood circulation, detoxification of blood and helps in proper nerve functioning. This not only heals but also revitalizes your entire body.

Pregnancy Massage focuses on the needs of expectant mothers, and many women greatly benefit from this massage therapy.  May wait until the first twelve weeks of pregnancy is over before having a massage; though if you have had previous healthy pregnancies this is at your own discretion. This massage can provide relief from headaches, congestion, fatigue, back pain, muscles spasms, swollen feet and other discomforts.  Also, pregnancy massage can prompt the labor process if the mother is near or over her due date.   

'Side-lying' pregnancy massage is performed which provides more comfort for mother and baby by being postioned on the mother's side during the massage, instead of being face up or down which can be uncomfortable and dangerous. 

Fertility and Infant massage.  Fertility massage can aid with couples trying to conceive and is best to be done on both the father and mother within the same week/day as each other.  This simply stimulates the appropriate hormones and body functions needed to conceive in a natural way. Infant massage can help with colic, digestive issues and interrupted sleep patterns. 

Pregnancy & Fertility massage prices same as Swedish prices.  For Fertility massage: $100 to see both mother and father, as long as they are seen within a week of each other.

Yoga

Yoga can increase flexilbilty, by increasing lubrication in joints and tendons.  Yoga also massages the organs of the body, and is a great detoxifier by flushing out and bringing new blood flow to all areas of the body.  Yoga tones and strengthens muscles, as well as adding balance and stability. 

Class as of now is a beginners progressive class.  It is perfect for anyone new to Yoga or simply wanted to learn the basics of Yoga thus building a great Yoga practice for themselves. 

Classes meet Tuesday's at 7:00pm   Classes are free until April 13th!!
